Hi all! My name is Amy, mom to Braeden and expecting no 2 in July. I don't post on this board as much as my DDC but am looking for some BTDT mommy advice. My son is going on 20 months. He never took to milk as a newborn, we put him on soy at 3 months. At 1 yr I tried whole milk again and he had severve stomach/gas issues with it. Tried again at 18 months, same response. I mentioned this to my new pediatrician and she recommended Lactose Free Milk, but we have not tried that yet. I am wondering if anyone else has/had a similar problem, do you have any recommended reading or links I can go to? I just don't know if this is a lactose thing or a protein thing, as my pedi mentioned, and want to try to figure out the problem.

If you can spare some time, thank you!

Breana can't handle alot of dairy products so she is on Soy milk. When she is at daycare she has regular milk and anything else.

I think I was just over loading her system on the dairy.

Good Luck!!!

I jsut say to put him on Soy or the Lactaid Milk.
