At what age do you plan on taking you LO to the dentist for the first time? Do you plan on using a pediatric dentist or just a general dentist?

I plan to take them after they turn three. Just to my regular dentist, but they have a kid's room with bright walls, a kid sized dental chair, and a tv on the ceiling so the kids can watcch cartoons.

That sounds nice!! I like the new dentist I just switched to so I am going to take the kids to her. I waited until 4 for Aaron because I didnt have good insurance, think I may take Anna here soon since she just turned 3 and is interested in caring for her teeth

i actually dont know. probably when she is old enough to understand what is going on.

Breana is actually going with me in AUgust just to get used to

sit in the chair etc.

then she will go after that appoitment.

My dentist said usually around 3 is when they start to go.

Probably 3 here, too. I dont think Medicaid pays until then...and we have to go to whomever takes our ins.

My insurance will start Emmie's dental when she is 2 and I plan on finding a Pediatric Dentist.

Im not sure i need to look into Dylan's insurance but most dentist say around 3
and a pediatic one if one is within 20min drive

I always start my kids at 3
