during the first 2 months of his/her 2nd year your tod will prob use 2 or more objects together, but not in a way that makes sense. for eg, banging a doll on a truck.
at this stage u can introduce him/her to different pairs of objects that have a practical relationship to each other, for eg a chalkboard and chalk, a doll and a bottle.
demonstrate how the objects are used together.
praise your tod when he finally follows what u are doing.
