We were checking out the reduced Easter stuff at Target yesterday and Danielle (16mths) was standing at my feet. She grabbed up what I thought was a big plastic egg from the bottom shelf and in a split second said "ball" and threw it in the floor. Turns out it was an egg shaped ceramic flower container. Pottery shards and dirt shattered everywhere.
I was horrified. She was ok, it scared her a little though. I put her back in the cart and sent DH to tell someone in the store. They were super nice about it, and told us not to worry about it even though we offered to pay for it. It was super embarassing though.

No. They once made a box of cereal look ugly... Bites out of it and what not. The cashier told me I did not need to get it, I told her my kids did it, so I will pay for it (I wanted the cereal). She offered to send someone for another, I said no, I would take that one.

Other than that, no. I keep all 3 of mine in the cart and away from things as much as I can.

Almost...we were at a store in the airport and he dropped a ceramic dish. It made a loud noise that made everyone look but thank goodness it didn't break. Someone made a condescending remark to me about it which totally pissed me off.
