My daughter is 15 months old, and over the last few weeks she's just been screeching at the top of her lungs. At dirt i thought maybe she was just trying to communicate but now she's been doing it out of the blue for no apparent reason. Today i gave her her very first two time outs in her neglected play pen but I'm on my way to snapping and i just don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?

Its an age thing. She's discovered she can do it and it gets a reaction from you. Lucy did the same thing and honestly, I just ignored it. I didn't punish her for it, I didn't look at her when she did it, eventually she realised that screaming doesn't get Mummy's attention.

If you can just ignore it and it will subside try not to let her know that it bothers you.
