Hi, new here. I'm hoping this doesn't come off as petty, but I'm a little fired up about something and before I say something heated to my sister-in-law... Well, here goes. I am a Universalist Unitarian. We don't conform to any one religion or creed. Basically all religions are welcome in our church. If I had to pick a creed or religion that I identify with, it would be Buddhist. My husband is a Christian. But we both agree that when our children are older, they are the ones who can decide for themselves. We take them to our churches...but we don't try to indoctrinate either way. We are raising them to see that even though mama and dada believe different things, we respect each other's beliefs. Our children are 4 and 2. Tonight, my sister in law gave my 4 year old a "My First Bible" as a Christmas gift. Backstory.... she is a very conservative Christian. She thinks I'm a liberal new-agey hippie and so we basically just try to be as positive as we can when in each other's presence. We are absolutely opposites. Ha. However, I feel that her gift was inappropriate. I don't think it was given out of, let's say, pure love. She is an admitted passive aggressive person. I know for absolute certain that should I decide to gift any of her little ones with "My First Guide to Buddhism" she would flip her sh*t. I'm trying to decide how best to handle this. I feel like I could put it in better perspective if I didn't feel that it was a dig at me. But the mama in me feels like I should be direct with her and tell her that we aren't raising our children quite like she is and she should respect that. Please help.

Sorry for answering so late. I love buying gifts at www.Three-Snails.Com online shop. They have an amazing handmade presents: children's clother's, toys... Also they have a lot of personalized gifts! Very beautifull!
