Just wanted to let ya'll know that they were talking about bibs being recalled today, and I have been looking online everywhere trying to find which bibs they were, but have had no luck. I just heard them say on Headline News (I think) that they are the "Baby Connection" vinyl bibs sold at Wal-Mart that apparently contain lead. It hasn't been posted anywhere as it just came out this morning. Just wanted everyone to know! (I had two and I just tossed them!)
Gosh I'm getting fed up with all this, I had some elmo and backyardigan stuff from the first recall and yesterday while going through the Fisher Price recall I found Lauren's Laugh and Learn Bunny on there. They are sending me a return label for it to send it back to them and then they will send me a voucher for a Fisher Price product.. umm yeah I'm not sure if I even want one lol.
We haven't owned any recalled products so far (knock on wood!) but I just don't understand how they're STILL making things with lead. They've known about the dangers for decades. It just doesn't make sense.
We are waiting for our SASE to send back Sarge (a die-cast car from Cars)....it is involved in that last toy recall. I also want to call the DR to see if the boys should have a lead test as they play with the Cars every day.
Included in the recall were Batman action figures, Barbie play sets, Doggie Day Care play sets and 253,000 "Sarge" die-cast cars. With about 80 percent of toys sold worldwide made in China, it makes you wonder and fear that many other toys are not safe.
