We have the laminate wood flooring and I hate it. It isn't my house or I would change it. I can't seem to find anything that says it is ok for that type of flooring. My mil gave me permission to use Swiffer on it, but it is causing the laminate to come off in some spots. Also, there are cracks in some of the pieces and it chips too. I don't recommend it.

Yikes! We had laminate tile at our old house but we never had any problems with it. I'm pretty sure we just used Pledge's version of the Swiffer Wet. That's so strange that it's done that your floor. I hope you can find something else that works.

We have carpet in the livingroom, diningroom, our bedroom, the halls, and the bathroom.

We have hard wood floors in the kitchen and kids bedroom. We are planning to put carpet in the kids room when we redecorate it. Think we will keep the hardwood floor in the kitchen though.

We have carpet except in kitchen and bathrooms--that's linoleum. We are going to put in the laminate wood flooring or hardwoods in the kitchen and DR soon though
