Do you have any short-term home improvement plans?

What about long-term plans?

For those who DON'T own their home, what would you do if you could?

Do you have any short-term home improvement plans?Tiling floors, painting, not too much else since its new.

What about long-term plans?Outdoor kitchen, koi pond.. one of my friends says he used to build koi ponds so I might not have to wait long for that.

Do you have any short-term home improvement plans? None as of now.

What about long-term plans? Re-landscape the entire backyard (we laid down sod before, but our dogs pulled it up), new carpet.

We rent from my parents, so we pretty much treat this place as if it were our own, and we decorate and make improvements as we see fit.

Our home is old and needs lots of things done. We will do them when we have the extra money.

Painting in our bedroom and bathroom
Replace 9 more windows (out of 13)
Paint our big porch
Replace our bedroom door
Carpet the boys bedroom
Paint or put siding on house

I'm sure there is more.

Well when we bought the house the kitchen was SOOOOO small I mean really small so we re-did the kitchen 150% better!!! But also DH is a kitchen designer so it had to be changed.

I want to paint but have to find a new love seat and all that before I paint.
Put new tiles on the kitchen floor.
In a few weeks we are going to do a new deck in the back yard.
We need new windows here pretty quick.

My house is pretty much new, so we won't be doing anything inside for awhile but our backyard will be getting sod this fall and getting landscaped and that's gonna be a big ordeal I'm sure.

Do you have any short-term home improvement plans? Hire someone to power wash and seal the deck before winter.

What about long-term plans?
Interior painting (white is sooo boring), extend the deck and put a hot tub out there.

We have remodeled our house bit by bit so the next thing we want to do is add crown molding and recessed lighting.

Here is a before and after of my kitchen

Before (previous owners decorations)

After

Short-term: Paint the kitchen and get new window treatments in there

Long-term: Redo kitchen cabinets, paint bathroom, and redo the floor and get a new vanity, finish the basement and expand the bathroom down there.
