Next is the binky

That is great, I am trying to take the twins bottle, but I just don't think they are ready. They still have a strong urge to suck at night and have refused binkies since they were around 5m. I am TRYING really hard to get Jon to quit giving them bottles during the day.....but it is like talking to a brick wall. He cannot seem to realise that yes they need to drink, but it will not hurt them to miss a few oz's because they are refusing the sippy over the bottle.

Oh I'm with ya. The boys are almost 2 and I've been trying, but I give in especially at night cause I want to go to sleep. I haven't pushed to hard yet cause we're moving in less than a month and I'm afraid its going to cause insecurity issues. They use the bottle as a binky. It seems to be their security blanket. So I'm going to try replacing it with a security blanket Good for Ben and you! Hope I have as good of luck!

WOOHOO! Go Ben! I'm trying to get Ty off the binky then it'll be the bottle. My dr told me to help them get off the bottle put something yucky in it like grapefruit juice

day 2 of no bottle. He didn't ask for it when he took his nap. And only asked for it twice at bedtime.

Still dreading the binky!

WTG Ben!!!! I am thinking of taking the bottle when Elias has all his teeth. He seems to need it more then. Then it will be the binky. I'm more attached then he is I think. It is super easy to give a bottle in the middle of the night!
