At my daughters 4 month appointment the DR couldn't find the red reflex so she sent us to a specialist and it turns out she is farsighted. He said that he would give her 3 months for it to correct itself. She was almost a month early so at the time of the follow up appointment she will be medically 6 months old. She may need glasses and I was just wondering how hard it is to keep them on an infant? Can anyone help me?
Hi, my dd doesn't wear glasses but I imagine it might be tricky initially but she should get used to it. I know they do a wrap around kind so it stays on better. However, I hope her vision is able to clear up on its own.
~Thank you GraysMama for my beautiful siggy~
I have heard of kids vision correcting itself in time. Even if she has to wear glasses for a bit when she gets older it may adjust her sight so she won't need to wear them long term down the road. Do you or your dh wear glasses?
