I'm not sure if this is the right board, but I think it might be. I'm new to this board but have been a member of JM since May 2006. My name is Lindsay (27), I am married to my DH, Tim (29) and we have 2 boys together, Aiden (2.5) and Caleb (9 months) . My son Aiden has a very hard time talking and is currently getting speech therapy. He's been in speech therapy for over a year....close to 2 I believe (if I'm remembering correctly lol)
Here is my question. We have gotten very close to his teachers (he has a special ed. teacher and also a speech pathologist) and since Christmas is coming up, I was really intrested in getting his teachers a little something special....not just because of Christmas, but also because Aiden will be transfering into a preschool this coming January, and December 24th will be his teacher's last day with him. I really want to get them a little something special from Aiden. Does anybody have any ideas they can share with me?
Thanks so much in advance for your help!. Can't wait to get to know everybody a little better soon!

I've been starting to think about this because we are starting to phase out of one of my son's therapies ... Probably after this IFSP we won't have PT anymore, and he has been seeing her since he was 4 months old! I'd do something personalized, myself - maybe go to one of those paint your own pottery places and have Aiden design a mug or a coaster or something for them? Or you might do a picture frame and get a picture taken with Aiden and his teachers to give to them.
