first off its almost impossible to get an acuity on a child under like 3. If they can't rad the chart they can't do it, and even when they first start the picture style acuity chart its still easy to get it wrong.
as far as what 20/250 means. She sees 20 feet like a "normal healthy" eye sees at 250
are they putting her in glasses? it will help. If you want good glasses solo bambino glasses are raved about on the aphakic sight. They are suppose to be well made and sper comfy for them also sturdy and pose little risk in flattening the nose. Glasses can hurt the bones in their noses because they are so soft.
