she is at a 9-12mos old speech level
15mos old cognitive and adaptive level.
she qualifies for both OT and speech therpy. I was shocked by the cognitive dely.
For now they will come once every other week to work with her and then re-evaluate her in 3mos and see where she is at.

I'm sorry that the "results" scared you I get that. Don't fret about it though. I don't know how old your dd is but she doesn't look that old. I bet wihtin a few months you will see great improvements

We all want our kids to be perfectly normal and healthy. It's just natural. I bet you will see a lot of improvement.

Trust me she will be fine she is still young. The speech therapy will do wonders. I have Joshua in speech for a year now and wow the improvement is unreal. I was barily speaking when he started JR.K last year (2008) and now wow. I wish he would have had the help he needed sooner. I was concerned when he was 2.5 and took me a long time to get help and for someone to finally say yes he was delayed. Luckily he only needs help with the articulation of words. One thing to remember is just make sure not to use baby talk around her cause it won't help her.
