Jamie goes in for surgery July 13. He is going to try to fix her eyes so we may not need a second surgery. He aslo said we may not need to worry about glasses untill she gets older. It is going to be an outpatient surgery so we should be home the same day. I am so thrilled. The thought of no glasses and only one surgery is making me giddy. I am so happy right now.
Jamie done great with surgery. her eyes were red but it has been a little over a week and the reddness is starting to leave. The first day was the worst. She screamed for three hours straight because she wanted cookies and the doctor wanted her clear liquids since she had a breathing tube inand he was worried about vomiting after anesthesia so it was a battle. The first couple days were spent mainly wanting me to hold her but she is now exploring and feeling everything. It is like she is learning it all again. The other day she opened 3 boxes of pasta just to feel it.
