Between Gus, Syd and Mia , I ahve been up all night
Why do so many autistic kids have such sleep issues? At midnight last night he was still frantic with activity, pacing the hallway beating his sides and sticking out his tongue - he was compelled even though I could tell he was exhausted. Finally I gave him his allergy medicine even though it's not the season yet because I know it makes him drowsy - and then I held him in a squeeze until he calmed down. Poor kid.

Of course as soon as he was settled Sydda wanted to nurse. Then I got her back to bed and Mia woke from an unsettling dream and needed a cuddle. Then I was wide awake so i decided to mop the floor before heading back to bed. Then Mia woke again with a cough, then Syd woke to nurse again, and now it is 6am. Where did the night go?

I know I'm not the only one who's had nights like this. Sucks huh?

OMG, that's rough. I'm so sorry. Can you get a nap some time today?

That definitly stinks. When bad nights happen and you need to start a new day that may be taxing it can be brutal.
