Gus started using "p" today! He came to tell me he was "pooey" but he usually says "kooey" and I was surprised! Then I asked him to say pink and purple and pizza and he did! But then he lost it again later on, reverted back to saying the "k" sound where he should say "p" but for a while he had it - he'll get it again Also, he ate an ice cream cone! We always give him whatever we are giving the other kids along with what we know he will eat, but he either ignores it or just plays with it - today, he picked up the cone and licked the ice cram! He licked it right down to the cone before he started playing with it Hooray for trying new things!

Yay for Gus! Thats awesome! What we used to see with Abby is that once she started something new, it didn't always stick right away but it usually meant that it would happen again and eventually she would get it. I'll bet Gus will get to using the letter "p" again in no time
