All I have to say is dh better take the kids out for the day saturday as long as Jay is better. Let me start off saying I love Jay with all my heart. I am HATING his behavior the last few days. He is constantly pulling Jonathan's hair. He will sit on him and just will not let him alone. I feel like pulling my hair out. Jay has been beating on me to. He has been biting, pinching scratching. He usually is not this bad. I am not sure if its because he is sick or if its from the predisone. Sometimes I feel like running out the door. I am not depressed, just more frustrated then anything.
I'm so sorry things are hard. I hope he's feeling better soon and that he calms down for you. How is he with toys? Does he play well on his own? I started arranging Cameron's toys into 3 boxes. Each box has books, imaginary play toys, cars, arts&crafts and alphabets & numbers. Then every 2 weeks I put 1 of the boxes away and exchange it for another one that is stored in the basement. That way he always has a fresh set of toys to explore and play with. It's been better at keeping Cameron busy when we're home and I'm cleaning.
I swear if I am not right beside him at every moment he is trying to squeeze and cuddle Tyler (4 months old) and sometimes hurts him. Thankfully Cameron has not shown an aggressive streak with him yet. So I kinda know how you feel, but I know it's not the same.
Thanks Nicole (MommaDucks) for my new & awesome siggy.
Yes, there is a chance that the prednisone is aggravating the situation. Jacob isn't on the prednisone but when he has the albuterol, he's hyper for a little while afterwards. I gave him the treatment before bed the one night and while he lay there, he was constantly moving his legs, arms, and chattering away. I changed the times that I gave it to him.
I hope Jay is feeling better soon and that dh will take the boys so that you can get a break this weekend.
