Hi Everyone!!
Could u possibly take a moment to sign a petition so that Noah and so many other children in quebec can get the help they need and deserve.

Quote:
Today there are more than 600 families of young children on the waiting list for a diagnosis in Montreal alone, and the wait could be for a year or longer. After diagnosis, the wait can then be as long as 18 to 24 months for treatment. These delays mean that many children are five or older before they receive treatment.

Quebec is the only jurisdiction in North America where diagnoses by psychologists is not recognized for the purpose of directing children for treatment. Quebec stands alone in North America in refusing to adopt best practices and to be guided by the weight of scientific knowledge. All of this, along with the requirement for a doctor’s diagnosis, creates unnecessary bottlenecks and delays in diagnosis and treatment. In the end, the Quebec government is willfully and permanently depriving children of a lifelong opportunity to improve their quality of life.

Change Bill 21 to Let PhD level Psychologists Diagnose Children with ASDs

Thanks so much!

I added a little paragraph abut how early diagnosis and early intervention have helped my son.
