Any knew skills your child/ren both DD and NT have learned: Reese blew a kiss to his sisters sore finger yesterday, thats a first for him, he hates kissing and i don't think ive ever gotten a kiss from him. He blew the kiss after asking if he could hug it better first and we pushed for a kiss. Its a small thing but a huge thing for us as we have never even seen him blow a kiss.
Anything appointments, birthdays or other special things going on this month: Jake finished his spring course in college on Saturday last and got his certificate in Medicine and Detective Skills, same day we found out Reese will start college in the summer term. DH and i are off to Paris on the 24th for 2 nights ALONE. My parents are taking the kids, i am really looking forward to it but am dreading being without them at the same time if that makes sense.

Any knew skills your child/ren both DD and NT have learned: He learned how to tie shoes. We're working harder on not writing letters and numbers backwords too
Anything appointments, birthdays or other special things going on this month: He has a med check on the 9th, and talk about counsoling since we pulled him from his flakey counsoler. She would leave right at his appt time telling us that she would be back in 10-15mntues, then she would only see him for 20-30 min and was supposed to for an hour. The last time he went she left for 10minutes at his appt time then said she could only see him for a half hour, 15minutes later she brought him out and said they were done. So we said we weren't comming back. We have to talk with his doc about that.

We'll also be talking to his doc about what to do come September. He wont be able to get his IBI once he starts 1st grade due to scheduling. The schools rarely contract out of the school for services and the school is in the same district that his Kindregarten is (its a Kindercenter so all K's go to one school then they get split for 1-5th grades) so I'm pretty sure they will give us the same greif that his Kindergarten is.

And my daughter's birthday is on Sunday the 8th (Easter) she will be 3.

Any knew skills your child/ren both DD and NT have learned: Alex is working on learning puns and idioms. It is sometimes funny when he tries to use them in everyday life. Katie is doing so much better both at school and at home now that she started medication for ADHD. They both got really good report cards this past semester. Aiden is working on potty training, though he hasn't made major progress he is atleast sitting on the potty without a major fight.

Anything appointments, birthdays or other special things going on this month: The kids have their spring music concert at the end of the month but that is about it.

Any knew skills your child/ren both DD and NT have learned: Not really this month, we're still working on unprompted communication and it's strolling along at a slow pace.
Anything appointments, birthdays or other special things going on this month: We have Liam's final appointment for his diagnosis on Thursday. A little bit of tummy knots for that one.

I've been MIA for a while but wanted to pop in to see how everyone's doing!

Any knew skills your child/ren both DD and NT have learned: Jonesy is starting to approximate some phrases appropriately, like "Thank you" and "Bye"

Anything appointments, birthdays or other special things going on this month: Jonesy had a follow up with the neurologist this week. He was concerned about the decrease in his muscle tone and the lack of progress with his gross motor skills. We are on the list through EI for a PT and OT but a spot has not opened up. Jonesy was also referred to a NeuroMuscular Specialist due to his motor skill issues. They are going to evaluate him and do some blood work. I am glad it is being done but a bit nervous. They are going to check him for some chromosomal disorders.
