I cried at the end of this one: Miracle Run. And it was a Lifetime made for TV movie! I couldn't sleep tonight (darned tooth pain, reason I am up now is I caved in and came downstairs for a pain pill) so I was sifting through what was on my Tivo. I have it set to record anything with autism or autistic in the description, and it recorded this movie starring Mary-Louise Parker and Aidan Quinn. I wasn't expecting much from a TV movie but thought it might be boring enough to fall asleep to, but I got right into it. Anyways if you haven't seen it and you're looking for something to boost your hopes about your little ones potential and remind you how so very important you are to them just by loving them and believing in them, I recommend it.
lol I've seen in like 3 or 4 times! first time was before I got pg with brady I think and I've thought of that movie so many times...even during my pregnancy! Its what made me think of autism with Brayden and why I've worked so hard with him all the time on my own. Ithink If she could do it with 2 I can do it with one!
I haven't seen it, but with Mary Louise-Parker and Aidan Quinn, I'm sure it's great! I should set my DVR to do that, too.
I did get a little teary eyed while watching The Boy Who Could Fly. I think he was described as having autism in the description. I've also cried over Beaches, Ghost, and Brother Bear. *sniff*

I am a breastfeeding, cloth diapering, co-sleeping, no crying it out, baby wearing mama of 3 boys, one of which has autism. Meet my boys here (having technical difficulties with my website). My blogs are On Top of Mt. Laundry and The Cache Checkers.
