Gus is frustrated by the toys he got for Christmas (Vsmile and games, electronic keyboard, LeapPad) but he loves playing with Sydney's new baby toys (talking shape sorter, Fisher Price counting piggy bank toy, Duplo) Oh well. He does love the Lego Duplo train set

Here he is with what he played with the most on Christmas morning

And all dressed up to got to Grandma's later Christmas Day

How cute and isn't that how it always goes? My kids always have the most fun with boxes too.

I know what you mean about the toys. I bought Abby some of the same things I did for my 8 yr. old and they were a big hit with her. She's never been into age appropriate toys and at almost 14 1/2, she still likes to play with Barbie dolls.

Yes. I caught Hunter with Devin's matching gingerbread men/woman. Hunter even took those toys into town with us. I mentioned they were meant for Devin's age, but Hunter just did his fake laugh and ignored me. I'm not going to take them away from him, even with hubby giving me that look.

I would let him play with the toys too Yolanda. Dh used to urge me to work on Abby to get past the Barbie stage but I thought "who cares?" She likes to play with them and they make her happy. I don't care if she plays with Barbies for the rest of her life
