Hello! I am new to this board! I currently do not have a child with a DD but my daughter did at one time. She had a speech delay and what htey classified as a *gross motor problem*, but not quite a delay. She was in Early Intervention from the time she was 13 months untill she hit 3. She turned 3 in June and for the most part is doing wonderfully!
I also worked with MR/DD for six years, and have a wide variety of background and thought I could pop in over here and help out with some questions/concerns etc. if you girls dont mind!

I have an 18 month old dd who has delays due to a genetic condition. She is doing wonderfully though, and the early intervention with the Child Development Center has done wonders for her. She is truly an amazing little girl.
