Does anyones ASD like books. Jay is only intrested in touch and feel books and he likes the interactive ones. The OT brought this book the wheels on the bus He loves it. I found on Barnes and nobles site and I want to get it. It is really a neat book.

Cameron is totally addicted to all books! He loves to sit and read and turn the pages. We have tons of books here and I sometimes have to hide them because he's so obsessed with them.

Gus didn't like books until this school year - he wouldn't sit still to be read to, and if he did look at a book he just wanted to flip the pages. He likes them now though, and will bring me a book and say "read mama" - I love it!
He loves the repetitive and rhyming ones as well.
Current favorites are Good Night Moon & Brown Bear, Brown Bear.

Abby has always loved books. She had a box of them by her bed when she was little and she would go through them at nap time....thats how she would fall asleep....leafing through the books

She still likes books a lot but doesn't seem to be able to finish one. She's better with books filled with facts or short stories than novels.

Hunter loves books now, maybe since a few years ago. As a toddler he didn't much care and wouldn't sit to listen.
