I was wondering what kind of toys your ASD child likes to play with. Jay likes cars mostly. He will play with mega blocks. He also loves his Mellisa and Doug sounds puzzle. We have some toy computer like things that he likes to play with.

Crissy I remember you saying that Gus likes the little people sets. What kind does he like? Jay's OT brought over a Little People barn and he seemed to enjoy it. I am planning on making the home made play dough. Jay's OT brought over some home made playdough today and he liked much more then the store bought. The texture is alot better I think.

Cameron likes cars too and BOOKS! He loves books. He mostly likes interactive videos so we have to really limit TV time around here.

Ds is very simple: blocks, jars of spices, and his play kitchen (except he won't use the play food, he has to use real food from the refrigerator)

Abby still loves her Barbies and plays with them every day....by herself. She sometimes asks her younger sister to play with her but Kacie seems to be outgrowing the barbie stage. She will give in a play with her sometimes though. Its also a very limited type of playing because Abby always wants to control everything...right down to what Kacie names her barbies, what all the barbies wear, what their names are, and what they do, and what they say.

When she was little, she loved, loved, loved, books, her music, puzzles, and Barney.
