I love this car seat. It is a bit heavy at 22 pounds but that doesn't bother me since I feel Collin is so secure in it. It was easy to get a tight fit with both the LATCH and seat belt methods in both RF and FF. The padding around the head is very sturdy and not flimsy at all. I also like the infinite head and shoulder strap positions. With it you do not have to remove and move up or down the shoulder straps from behind the seat. It is all done with a little knob on the side of the chair which moves it up and down to the exact position that you need. It is also easy to change the incline of the seat for forward or rear facing with just a little lift of a lever. They really take all of the guess work out of the seat and make it so easy to install and I feel that Collin is very safe and secure in it. I would definitely recommend this seat and we are thinking about getting one for my mom's car also.
On a side note, we bought the Recaro Como since they looked almost identical on the website. It was on sale on woot and we couldn't pass up the price. The only thing I thought we were missing out on was the infinite headrest positioning knob which isn't as convenient but wasn't a deal breaker. The seat feels very different. The side impact foam around the head isn't sturdy like it is on the Signo model. It is very floppy and seemed to cave in around my son's head. And when you position the straps correctly it seems to put the head foam too low, almost around his cheek level. We ended up taking the foam backing off and we only use the seat for my nephew if I have to pick him up (my sister has the same seat and doesn't mind not having the additional foam insert). I am still glad that I have it as a back up but I am not as impressed with it as I am with the Signo. For the price that we paid it was great but at regular price I would have been disappointed. If you are looking at the 2 of them, pay the extra $40 for the Signo!
