I have bad knees and a breathing problem so running would leave me blacked out and in a lot of pain when I came to. DH used to run though and I know he eased into it. Doing that he ended up training himself so well that he earned his school several track awards.
DH and I used to run nightly but have slacked recently. Wear good running shoes, stretch before and after you run, and breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Thing is no matter how tired you are you just gotta keep pushing, it'll eventually get easier! Good luck!
My only point would be go to a running room or whatever you have there and get them to pick out a good pair of shoes.. The place that I've been makes you walk barefoot to see how you pronate. And then you get to pick shoes.. Oh and I have to be less vain. My shoes are always ugly, not a stitch of pink on them. Good luck! Runnersworld.com is a great resource. .
