Can your preschooler write letters and numbers?

How about drawing shapes?

She can draw shapes. We haven't worked on numbers other than copy work, but she has recently started writing letters from memory.

Here's her name from memory on an art picture she did this week:



She has a little more difficulty with curves, but not bad at all for just turning 3.

Beth can write her name and a few other letters, and can draw shapes pretty well.

She can write her name and most letters and numbers well. She can do shapes good.

Teddy is still learning. He can draw the letter T and the number 1. He's great at drawing circles and is trying to draw other shapes.

Eric can't really do either. He has a motor processing delay that affects his speech so it may affect his learning to write as well.
