Sorry to just pop in here but I have been on the board before I just can't always keep up I just have a quick question my 4 year old came to me about 4 day's ago saying a bug bit his pee pee so I looked and its really his testlces(sp) kind of looks like a flat smooth bump . HE is still talkign about it says it doesnt hurt or anythign im not sure if it's something to worry about or if he zipped his stuff up and didnt tell me . I guess my main question is have any of you ever delt with this ? I plan on taking him to the Doctor I just can't be seen intill Monday or Tuesday adn it's driving me crazy
Yeah, I don't know. Maybe something really did bite him, but it's possible it's just an ingrown hair or something. (That would hurt, though.)
A flat, smooth bump that doesn't hurt can also be a wart. (My best guess, actually.) Warts are usually caused by a harmless herpes virus (there is more than one variety of herpes... this is like cold sores on your mouth ... harmless), and they travel all over the body throughout your life. They pop up in the weirdest places, stay a while, and then move elsewhere.
