We also leave oats for the reindeer & cookies & milk for Santa, we also take pictures of the kids hanging their stockings. Last year our DS was only 11 days old, so we took a picture of him IN his stocking. This year I am not exactly sure what we are doing for Christmas Eve, I have to work in divorced parents now. It gets harder every year.

we don't have any traditions... when we were younger we used to open one christmas present each, on Christmas eve.. and I might start doing this with Gaby in a couple of years.. but i know that if i let her open 1 on Christmas Eve now, she'd probably have a tantrum & want to open the rest

DH's extended family always gets together on Christmas Eve (which is an hour and a half away from where we live) so we are taking part in that this year. Last year we had the grandparents over to our house. We're still trying to figure out what works best for our family.
