How much tv does your preschooler watch?

Are there any shows that you don't care how often they watch?

What are some of their favorite shows?

This stems from a conversation I'm having on Facebook with some friends about Team Umizoomi and how we don't care, we'll let our preschooler watch it however often they wish due to educational value.

We love Team Umizoomi, Super Why, and Bubble Guppies. I can stand Ni-Hao Kai Lan & Dora in small doses. As long as it is educational, I don't mind it being on in the background. Our two and a half year old daughter only watches 10-15 minutes at a time anyway. She is always "doing something" while the television is on anyway.

Feel free to post lots and lots. There is also areas called "Playrooms" for birth month and year. I love mine for Kayley.

Kayley's usually the same way (10-15 minutes at a time) except for with some shows she'll just sit there glued to the tv.

My girls watch about an hour a day in total. Usually a while in the late after noon while I cook, and then a while after bath time and before bed time. They watch a Dutch show called 'Dora', in which they learn some English. Very educational! They also watch soaps.. I know, not educational lol, but I used to watch those too as a kid and it made me very creative and interested in psychology of people and writing etc. It's hard to explain

but they like watching it and I don't mind, they repeat the stoyrline when they play with barbies. I only turn it off when there's snogging or sex of course! Or when it's something very scary. I watch with them, so I make sure they don't watch violence/ scary things/ sexual content

How much tv does your preschooler watch? not too much. She's in school most of the day anyway.

Are there any shows that you don't care how often they watch? We have the Disney Junior channel and that's on pretty much all day, but the kids don't really watch..only once in a while.

What are some of their favorite shows? She is really into Princess moves right now, so any of the disney princesses like Sleeping Beauty, Tangled, Arielle, Cinderella. She also loves My Little Pony.

How much tv does your preschooler watch? A lot, but I don't care. The tv is almost always on but I'll turn it off if she's literally sitting in front of it watching show after show for too long. Usually though she's playing while she watches, so I don't mind.

Are there any shows that you don't care how often they watch? Team Umizoomi is one that I don't care if she sits and watches it all day long. She learns awesome stuff from it. Also Super Why & Octonauts are other great learning shows.

What are some of their favorite shows? She likes the 3 mentioned above, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, My Little Pony, Lazy Town, and more I can't think of....
