Were in 'mosquito season' at the moment, we live in a forest area and we have a creek behind our house, so we get thousands of them.
Sasha recently got a mosquito bite on his bottom. We were in the supermarket and he yells out, for all to hear "MY MY BUTTS ITCHY AGAIN, THE BUGS ARE BACK!"
Just the way he worded it, plus the bottom scratching, it really sounded like he had worms, and I noticed everyone else in the shop was really really wary of what he touched. I felt like running around yelling "HE HAS A MOSQUITO BITE EVERYONE!"
Yes. At the grocery there was a man with a ponytail in the meat section and we were right next to him. Kayley said "Look Mommy! That boy has a hair bow in his hair! Have you ever seen anything so funny before?" I said "Well, apparently you haven't." I just kept a straight face. I felt bad because I know that man heard her...hopefully he understood. After he left I tried to explain to her that some boys have longer hair and that everybody was different....that's all you can do.
My kid makes me laugh when he can't remember proper names for things or can't pronounce them properly. a radiator is 'radio later' and orange juice is 'orange goose'.
The embarrassing stuff is saved for the supermarket when he yells out rude words I have said "mommy said ***". Oops

how cute is he! eeek for the bad words, that would embarrass me,
Kyla's latest one was at the zoo.
there was a kid (i dont know if it was a boy or girl, i was too embrarrassed to look), and Kyla yells at the top of her voice "mommy that boy is wearing girls shoes". knowing her it probably was a little girl with short hair.
but i quickly moved on and hoped the child didnt hear.
i think my worst ever was in a change room fitting on clothes, and i had a thong on, well Kyla (she was younger then), at the top of her voice says "mommy, why dont you have panties on". i almost died!!!
Oh well, if were on the topic of underwear. I wear an A cup, so I have a couple of bras, but mostly I just dont wear them, I have nothing to hold up and I flat out refuse to buy training bras (heres pride getting in the way)
When Sunny and Lux were younger, Sunny 4 and Lux 2, we were in a department store, looking around, and we walked past the lingerie department, and Sunny just blurts out, as loud as she possibly can "MUMMY YOU SHOULD BUY A BRA, ALL THE OTHER MUMMIES WEAR THEM, YOU SHOULD TOO"
I got some very strange looks from everyone around me.
