We had to take a change of clothes for summer weather and fall weather (most parents bring the fall outfit once it gets cooler, I just pack it the same time); a backpack. The school supplies the rest. For my oldest, we have to take an epi pen because of allergies.

monthly we supply tissues and wipes, at the beggining of the school year we supply a bunch of stationary and paper/glue, etc.
