He doesn't have his own. Sometimes we play educational or just preschool games on the iPad. We are getting him a leapster.

My elder kid has. I let him play with it after studying his lessons. I usually give him 3-4 hours to use it.

My son plays on my ipad daily, but I have a stipulation. First he must play 2 educational games, like a sight words game, and I also require a game for learning a new language, etc ... then he is allowed to play a game of his choice.

Until now I had a strict policy of: no computer for my kid except when he is watching cartoons, but I recently figured out that a game here and there can't do any harm.

My son doesn't have a game console but we're planning to get him a leapfrog product next month. Any recommendation?

Our 11--months-old daughter loves playing on ipad since last month, but we limit her time by 45 minutes a day.

We have Nintendo ds for both kids. But they are only allowed to play them on car rides.
