Alright...maybe just "mean" mommy.
Tonight there was a tree lighting celebration at Kaylee's school from 5:30 - 7pm. It would've been alot of fun to go to but with out my DH around it would be insane for me to deal with both kids....mainly Vanessa...during this, so we skipped it.
During dinner, at 5:30pm to be exact, Kaylee says "Oh Mommy! There is a big Christmas Tree at the school tonight and I want to go!" Ugh. I had to explain to her that since Daddy wasn't home we were not going. She was soooo upset. I felt so bad. I mean, I could've planned ahead and dropped Vanessa off at my Dad's or something but with me being sick this week and it is still pretty crisp and cold outside...I figured as long as Kaylee didn't know about it, no big deal.
Wrong! I should've guessed it would be talked about at school. Bad Mommy. She even said "I'm going to be the only one who isn't there!" in her crying fit! I'm sooo doomed if her drama has started this early.
