Hey Ladies ~

So I totally freaked out earlier this evening...I have not had anything come out of my boobs since I stopped pumping at about 6 weeks.

Only from my right boob, I had about 3-4 drops come out...it was sticky goldish creamy. Def opaque, looked thick. What gives? Anyone have any insight?

After the initial leakage, I went and googled for about 20 minutes and found everything from early pg signs to breast cancer and TONS of stuff in between.

And my luck, it all said that one boob leaking was more abnormal or cause for concern than if it was both. But I tried my left side and got nothing...not even clear liquid.

After googling, I checked my boob again and this time only got about 2 pin sized droplets. When about 15 minutes passed, I gave up trying to squeeze anything out.

Now its just kinda tingly and warm but not burning or painful. And sure enough, from all the self stimulation, I started cramping. Dead center, low ab like right around my C/S scar...dull throb aches.

Oh, and I took a HPT...came back negative. I've been seriously sick this whole month, so I have a feeling all my days are off. If O'd on time (19th), I'd only be 5DPO...however, I experienced EWCM big time around the 13/14th and attributed it to the Mucinex. But I never got EWCM when I should've O'd normally. I actually was drying up. So if I O'd early, I'd be about 10-11DPO.

Anyways, I'm keeping my eye out on my leaky boob and hopefully this is just some new PMS thing for me.

My sister had this for a long time after she was done BF'ing. I would just ask your doc about it though.

After both pregnancies - stillbirth where I obviously did not BF, and Zoe where I BF for a bit over a year - I have had one leaky nipple for a long time. It's the same spot as well - just one tiny spot where I can always squeeze out a couple of drops. I actually just checked a couple of days ago and it's still happening I think it's pretty "normal", but if you're worried, def. go see a doc.

I noticed my boobs leaked since I was like 18. Mulii colored too lol. Yellow, white and clear. I have a lump too - so they checked it out - and I'm just a freak LOL. But I wouldn't worry given that you've had a baby 'recently'.

I still lactate... worse than that actually and we've been done BF'ing for nearly a year.

And it's worse on the side Johnathan preferred... was that Vaughn's favorite boob?

Thank you all for the insight...From the sounds of it, I'm glad I'm not solo on something like this, kwim?

For me particularly - I didn't start any kind of leakage (not even during PG) until I started pumping at the hospital (Vaughn had a tube feeder the first day or so). And then after I stopped pumping at about 6 weeks, I only dealt with blocked ducts and leakage maybe another weak or so. And interesting, I hadn't thought about which side he favored...pumping, I got more out of my left boob, but Vaughn latched better on my right (my grandma seems to think b/c I had too short a nipple on my left Grandmas!) But when he did latch, it never lasted more than 10-15 minutes. So he got both BF & FF filled bottles. Sigh. BFing was a harried thing for us I hope when #2 comes along, it goes a bit better Funny though, um, Josh also "favors" my right side! lol, but there was no funny business going on when my leaky boob started haha

Anyways, I'm making an appointment for a doc. Admittedly, I'm a lil wigged out. Today, I woke up with both boobs sore (although that could have been from all the squeezing I was doing last night while checking them out) AND oddly, the right side of my ribcage was very sore. No leakage today though. However progressively, my boobs (both) have increasingly become sensitive, sore, and feeling tingling (could be a new PMG thing, but not normal for me currently)...also my whole ribcage is now sore. Its just making me worry...so def making an appt to see the doc. Id rather go and them tell me its nothing than it be something worth concern and I took forever to have it attended to

The leaking itself sounds somewhat normal after any kind of lactation... I do think I had a few drops now and then after Devin, and I never breastfed him (but my milk came in). But it's a good idea to get it checked out if you're worried!
