Hey guys have not been around much. Not even on Facebook, I have not even been around lurking.

So as you guys know i was having/had my biopsy, I find things out tuesday. But at this point they say even without the results they need to start something as my body is "giving up" I have been so sick for the last 8 weeks, no enrgey lost 40 pounds, I have gone 3-4days at a time with out even and not even had pains to tell me I was starting to starve. I have gotten some gluten-free food but only One thing so far is any good.

My doctor wants me to go see someone as he feels I have been deal with this for so long I have become scared of food. As every time I ate I am sick. So will know everything 2 days before my birthday. Oh ya fun

Josh is good trying to talk happy and become a cuddle bug. Emmy is good too doing great in daycare and talking tons.

My marriage well that's better then ever I have nothing to say but good things. Even though he can be a dummy lol

I hope I can start feelin better soon and that my sister who has a biopsy booked for the new years does not turn out with the same as me and can go on to eat everything and anything

I'm sorry to hear you've been so unwell. I just figured you were all wrapped up in your new married life.
I hope that they can help you to feel better quickly.

I'm sorry you're struggling so much with your health. That must be so very frustrating on so many levels... feeling unwell for a long period can really impact how you feel about food, like you said. I hope they figure something out soon.

I'm glad the kiddos are doing well!

I'm sorry you're having a hard time with going GF. It is a struggle in the beginning but you will get the hang of it You need to stop buying pre-made GF food though. Most of it is disgusting anyway and expensive lol Go to a bookstore and invest in a couple GF cookbooks. Also following a Paleo diet is mostly GF as well and have tasty recipes. I have probably 20+ bookmarks of GF blogs and websites that have AMAZING recipes. I have yet to make something that wasn't good! Even the Paleo recipes are good, even brownies!
We don't eat bread anymore mostly because it's too expensive and we can't have eggs. For lunches we do leftovers mostly. When I cook dinner I always make sure there is enough for Colton and I the next day. Breakfast is GF oatmeal, or GF waffles with peanut butter YUM. I suggest investing in a waffle maker! So many things you can do with waffles in a GF diet. You can use them to make panini sandwiches, make breadcrumbs etc. So far my GF pumpkin waffles have been the fav. Even my DH likes the GF recipes I make. Snacks are usually apples with PB, string cheese and a handful of almonds or corn tortilla chips with cheese.
Also once you have an official Dx for either Celiac or non-Celiac gluten sensitivity you can write off the $ you spend on groceries on your taxes! But you have to have the Dx from a doctor.

Here are a couple of my fav places to get recipes :

Gluten-Free Recipes | Gluten-Free Goddess

Health-Bent | Paleo-friendly recipes that don't look or taste like dog food.

Recipes | Gluten Free Recipes (I made her GF green bean casserole for Thanksgiving and ONGosh it was AWESOME!!!!)

Sun Dried Tomato Chicken Bake | Everyday Paleo (this is a VERY yummy dish! I add either goat cheese or mozzarella at the end)

Quinoa Stir-Fry with Vegetables and Chicken Recipe at Epicurious.com (this is really yummy too just make sure you use GF soy sauce)

This should give you a good start on cooking some better meals that actually taste good

Do some research on Quinoa. There's TONS of GF recipes that you can make with it and it's a complete protein!
