Erin's question last week reminded me to post this tutorial for non skid socks.

I Am Momma - Hear Me Roar: Homemade Gripper Socks

Today I bought socks for GG and couldn't find any in his size with non skid grips on them either.
So I picked up some puffy paint at the dollar store and hoped that was what you needed to do it with. This tutorial confirmed my suspicions.

I have always been able to find no slip socks for the kids until just recently. I have always used GAP and Old Navy, but now the twins are wearing 12s and 13s and non skid socks are nowhere to be found (they go up to 5T there)! Grrr. I've got the ice skating rink of slick tile floors and I'm terrified somebody is going to crack their noggin open. I may do this for Avery, but I know Jackson would flip out, and would be able to feel that through his socks with his sensory issues. Figures...he's the one I worry about since he's a lunatic child!

Very cool idea. I was just complaining that Mark's socks don't have grippies on them this morning.
