How do I search key words throughout all JM posts? I've only been on here since 2009 so I am still getting the hang of this

I've always just done the little box in the top right corner with the open spot and the pink "go" circle next to it. Right underneath the green news ticker thing. There may be a more advanced way to do it, but that's what I've always done.

Somewhat unrelated... but the day they took away the ability to search locked topics was the saddest day of my JM life.

Well... no good reason. Mainly because when someone says "There's no drama in MY PR" they're filthy filthy liars. There's always drama, and sometimes it's interesting... and the quickest way (used to be) is just bring up all locked threads. You can still arrange them by views, which will put the locked threads within the first 10 pages... but it's a slower process. Actually now I can't really think of why I miss it so much... i've read the top 20 pages of every board on JM so it's not like I haven't seen the locked ones too... it just seems like it would be easier to find what I want sometimes.

I realize this all makes me sound like a lunatic but I read very very fast and retain almost everything. I hoard knowledge the way some people do cats. Also JM is interconnected all over the place. It's one huge inbred family, in a way. For example... there is a board that almost never has locked threads (3-5 maybe in its history)... yet one of those locked threads was caused by one of our members. I like to see what everyone is up to when they're away... and it gives a much clearer picture of who people are when you see all the "sides" of them. And... I just like to read.

So ya, that's a part of it. Also i'm just really really nosey.
