I had my baby girl on May 28, 2010. Unfortunately I fell off of being on here in the misery of the last few months of my pregnancy and then had a bit of postpartum depression and no time after I had Jamie. I remember posting once at one point, but I can't recall any other time or when that was.

Anyway, I wanted to join the playroom again. I am interested in sharing stories about our babies who are the same age and mommy weight loss (220 lbs now, youch!). I know that's pinned at the top and will visit that thread in a moment, but I just wanted to reintroduce myself.

Thanks and sorry for not coming back for a few days. Jamie has been wanting to sit on my lap like every time I get on the computer and it's so impossible to type anything more than one word with her between me and the keyboard and trying to keep her little hands from grabbing stuff on my desk.

Jamie is doing great. I wrote a bit about her on my blog. It has been so wonderful having her in our lives. Sometimes I love her so much it's hard to even put into words. All fear I had before of not loving her as much as my first, is gone. I really don't want her to grow out of her baby-ness.

To buy a pair of those made it costs a LOT of money, like over 100 dollars for a toddler my daughter's size. That's definitely not in my budget.

I won the pattern already and I don't know who I can get to knit me some of these. I don't know the first thing about doing it myself but I have wanted a pair of these so bad for Jamie, maybe to match the colors in her sweater or anything. I would ask my cousin but she works and has 4 kids of varying ages. I know she is very busy and may have her own knitting projects going on right now. If all else fails, I know she said a long time ago she would love to have the pattern because those would make a great gift (the pattern is really expensive too). So I will give it to her if I never find someone to make them. Who knows, I may even get someone to teach me!

@rebeccabaltimore I definitely remember your name and saw your comment. What are you trying right now to lose weight? I am not at all motivated. I have had some depression issues and sleep deprivation, changes and additions in medications, and while I have been changing things I have felt like crap a LOT. I have been to a gym here a couple times (10 bucks/month and they have everything a girl needs really) but I find that most of the time I am not motivated to even go there because it's across town and I don't have a local buddy to go with. I live in a town of like 14,000 tops in Southern Illinois, so pretty pathetic. It's not like I gotta worry about traffic.

From time to time I think about my wedding dress sitting on top of my husband's wardrobe and pics of myself from when we were dating/newlyweds 7 1/2 years ago and I get the desire to knock off at least down to 160. I was never really tiny, maybe 145 when I got married and ideal for my 5 foot 6 is about 135. However, it's just like the housework around here. It's like things seem so far gone sometimes that I'm overwhelmed and I don't even start because I don't see an end in sight.

So there ya go, the two major things in my life that I need to work on. Any motivation would be great!
