Well firstly it reminded me why I'm only having this one ultrasound this pregnancy (well, since the 6w dating u/s).... they make me SO nervous it's ridiculous. My b/p was really high when they checked it and I was just twitchy.

But everything looks GREAT with the baby, all the pieces where they should be, there's only one in there for sure (lol), it's alive and well. SUCH a relief. Every single time.

And we found out it's a little girl! I'll be excited about that shortly, right now I'm really going through a rough adjustment as I grieve Devin, who may apparently end up being my only boy. But as Kate has shown us, girls are pretty fantastic, if prone to the dramatic. We've also talked about names and tentatively are agreeing to Ember Cailet.

Thanks girls! And thanks for the name love!! I told my mom yesterday and she was like, "Amber? With an A?" "No, an E. Ember." ".... Oh." LOL! I know it's going to throw family for a loop because it's so dissimilar from Katherine!

I can imagine its a really tough adjustment, but you will just love having 2 girls, and being so close in age they will be the best of friends. I dont know what I would do without my sisters, its such an amazing relationship.
