I can't believe it's already Friday! Do you have any plans for New Years this weekend?

We're just going over to a friend's place for dinner tomorrow... letting the kids run around... then coming home whenever Kate decides she needs to go to bed. So long before midnight. Then sunday we're hoping to go to brunch.

I work both days this weekend. Saturday I'm getting off early and we're all going over to my friend's house to exchange some gifts now that the holiday craziness has calmed down. We'll be home by dinnertime, though, since the kiddo needs to go to bed and I have to be up at 5 for work on Sunday.

New Year's has never been a big thing for me. I'm not a big fan of parties, I hate going out to bars on nights when all the hipsters will be puking on the sidewalks, and I almost never stay up until midnight.

We will probably go out to eat and get MIL to babysit for a while. Other than that, nothing. Now that we are older we are just not into going out and dealing with drunk drivers or driving drunk ourselves. Too much on the line to be stupid so the safest thing for us is to just stay home. My DH hasnt been into the bar scene since they banned smoking in bars.

We're aiming for a quiet weekend. Hoping to watch a Netflix DVD and maybe get an early night

OMG...I would LOVE to have a evening out on NYE - its our anniversary! Back home, we totally would've with dinner/dancing - the whole she-bang!! And Vaughn would've had a great sleep over, getting spoiled rotten at his grandparents!!

Not an option here, so we're doing family night ;-) Going to Lahaina for dinner at Ruth's Chris, strolling Front Street, hang out and see some fireworks. Last year, Vaughn slept and then woke up just in time for fireworks...so we may be out, may be home...its all good times!

as far as I know, we have no plans, other than staying home and doing the usual. On New Years Day our friends are hosting a party where they plan to deep fry anything they can think of.

My usual NYE plans consist of enough movies to keep me up past midnight, plus lots of junk food. This year I will be doing the same.... minus the junk food.

I think a few of us are getting together for steak and lobster. All the people with kids are uniting. I don't know if I will put G down there and stay up or if we'll just head home after dinner to get ready for our trip.

Happy anniversary!!! You are pretty much guaranteed a great time every year with that date! And Lahaina...SO jealous! I love, love, love Lahaina!! That sounds like my kind of NYE!

We aren't doing anything! Such wild party animals. We'll probably go out to dinner, but we do that all the time anyways, so not so exciting! With the chaos of Christmas and out of town guests, then my birthday that was today, I'm exhausted from all of the events of December by the time NYE rolls around!
