We got our Exchange gift this morning and opened it right away. It was a coloring book and two board books. YAAAAY! Violet has been on a coloring kick so we busted it out, pronto but she felt the urge to eat a marker tip and I took it away after #2 was licked...

She was pissed.





So she took her bear and threw a looong fit...



Then she got over it and I decided to give her her old makers + new coloring book.





Pretty smile for the camera!



Then... tonight before bed we read the books. They were: "10 little fingers and 10 little toes" and "That's not my Pony!"



The pony's nose is fuzzy and Violet has a nose!!

We just switched to the toddler bed last week.

She sleeps in her own bed until 4am (bedtime is 9ish, so 7 hours)... wakes up and instead of crying for me to come get her she crawls out and into bed with us. . The only thing between our bedrooms is a bathroom so it's a short journey. She likes being in it, but only because I am WEAK and I don't make her CIO.
