Violet calls herself "bye-tee" and points to her eye or nose. If she sees herself in a picture she is "baby, awww, baby"

Just curious

She can say Zoe, it's a pretty easy one which helps! It used to be Yo-wee, and I guess it's probably more "So-e" now. She's all about possession now, so everything is "Zoe sandwich, mama sandwich" "Zoe drink water, mama drink mater, daddy drink water" - we hear her name a lot each day

Eliza says "Ah-la-la." But usually I just get a blank stare.

we've tried to get her to say her name, but she won't do it. If we say "where's mommy? where's daddy? where's juliet" she'll point to each of us, then herself. But she wont say it. Our neighbor's son started saying her name a few months ago and calls her "jew - et" (and I'm "Jew-et's mom" and DH is "Jew-et's dad")

GG pats himself on the chest and says he-hen with really short vowel sounds.

We can get him to say pretty much any name by using it in "Mama(griffin, dada, whatever), where are you?"

Nothin yet. I just got her saying mama. LOL We ask her where is Kate and sometimes she'll point at herself, but often not. And she won't say it. If she sees herself in pictures she just shouts "BAYBEE!"

Ellie doesn't say her name at all yet. If we point her out in a pic or in the mirror and ask "who's that?" she will say "me" or "baby."

Haha, every time I ask Eliza what her name is, she says "me!" The only way I can get her to say it is to tell her to say ELIZA. "Ah-la-la!" I don't think she's made the connection yet.

Same.

If I say where's Violet she points at herself. If I ask "Where is..." and they are out of the room she throws her hands in the air with palms to the sky all dramatic like. I have to say "Can you say Violet?" and she willmimic me. If I say it fast, she will say bye-tee but if I draw it out she will say "buuuuuy-teet"

Also, like Kate, she RARELY says mom.

Yea...Vaughn's got no part in that action yet!! LOL!! Now I'm curious if he will...I say his name ALL THE TIME, but like a couple of you said, I don't think he makes a connection with it yet that that's his name.

On a side note, sometimes I think Vaughn thinks his name is something else. Sometimes I can call for him or try to get his attention with no success and then I'll call him "amor" (my lovely name for him) and he'll whip his head around like "yes, you called". And funny thing is, while is use it...I purposefully say Vaughn more. Just interesting to me

Around her first birthday, she would point to pictures of herself and say "Man-ah." Now she says "Maya", but it's a pretty easy name.

Lyric doesn't say his name. Anything that he says refering to himself he says "mmmm"

So like "mmmduce" for my juice or "mmmmmbuuuuuu" for my butt. If he sees a pic he says it's me! but never Lyric.
