Not that we need any more books... but aren't there such things as clubs where they deliver a new book or two a month or something? Like CD ones I remember from way back when. Anyone use one or have one they'd recommend? (kid's books)

I had signed up for one of those when I was pregnant with Devin, but cancelled it for obvious reasons. It was Dr Seuss books and stuff. But what got me is that in addition to the one book a month - which was fine - they sent this big package of expensive large books... and charged us. And if we didn't want it we had to send it back to get a refund. I was all WTH?!?! I called and yelled at them. (Granted we had just lost Devin so I was a MESS....)

My mom has done those before for adult books, but like Natalie said in my experience you get your one or two books a month as promised but then a bunch of extra stuff too that you have to send back or pay for. I'm sure there must be a good one out there that doesn't involve that shadiness but I don't know of one.

I know there is a program called Imagination Library and they send my boys a free book each month. My boys love it. you can then go online and they have worksheets to go with some of the books.
