I don't know. I am sure that type of incision is common to relieve pressure in the brain. I just noticed that the kid looks the same since I just got done reading the snopes article. It struck me as weird. I doubt someone would make up such a story.

I just Googled it, and that is apparently the incision they use for particular types of kids cranial surgery. We don't have our furniture strapped but REALLY need to given that we live in earthquake country!

I have the straps for C's dresser but DH hasn't done it yet. We put the smaller LCD that was in our room in his room and mounted it on the wall so all that's on the dresser is the BluRay player and some stuffed animals. Not that it makes it any better, but I don't like him in his room alone for the reason it's not anchored.

SO scary!!! Mason is getting his new "big boy" furniture (bunk bed and bigger dresser) set up this weekend and strapping them is an absolute requirement!

Was just thinking about this as we got E a new dresser today since baby boy is getting the dresser/changing table combo thats in her room now. I need to nag DH about this!
