Ahhhh, a moment of silence please...

Rest in Peace Vaughn's "ponnie" aka pacifier 5/5/10 - 1/13/12

LOL...well...its been almost a week since he's had it all. It wasn't intended, but he got a case of Hand/Foot/Mouth infection last week and even though he could have gotten anywhere, we chucked in just in case there there was a chance that's how he caught it.

So, it took a day but on Day 2 he went all day and lasted through the night and now it doesn't even seem like he's looking for it. For a while there he would get kind looney in the evening...LOL...Josh and I would joke that it's like he was going through "withdrawal" cause he would pace, look for it in all the usual spots, ransack his baby bag, and fuss a little bit. But after about 30 minutes he'd forget about it and go back to playing.

So that's it! Its a little happy/sad for me...like one more thing of his "babyhood" being left behind as he moves into his big boy toddler years.

Awww!! Big boy! I'm glad that it was a pretty easy transition for him. I remember with Jackson thinking that it was going to be AWFUL giving it up with his autism, but he was almost oblivious and Avery ended up being the tricky one!

Awesome though! One thing to check off the list! I hear ya on being kind of sad about it. Our babies aren't such babies anymore!

Yay Vaughn! Violet never took a ponnie but she sure lived the boob. I hope it goes as well as one day and then moving on for us too.

Probay not.

But SUPER fantastic for Vaughn!! They are resembling toddlers now instead of babies RIP Ponnie!

And mos def, our babies aren't babies anymore BUT so happy our kiddos are making these "baby steps"!

And I'm happy to say ALL pacifiers, EVEN the backup-just-in-case supplies are out of the house...Ding-Dong, the "ponnie" is really dead
