For 2.5 weeks, Grant has spent AT LEAST 50% of the day whining. And E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G is a battle. I can't take it anymore. This past week virtually drove me to madness. He even whines during tv time! He doesn't want to watch any show more than ten minutes, and starts whining/screaming/grunting at me to put on something else.

Dear god, I can't take it anymore!!!

This is my parental refugees without a doubt.am whining intolerant.
Luckily it's still fairly infrequent here...but I sense it's impending arrival.
Eta.I think by refugees I meant shortcoming weakness or downfall our something.not refugee though. I have no known refugees

That was kate for the past few weeks. She'd ask for Elmo, I'd put on Elmo, she'd watch for 2 minutes then loudly start whining "Why! Why!" i put on Super Why. Crying for Elmo. Repeat..... Drove. Me. Nuts.

The whining has started here too. I don't even know where she picked that up. We have no other kids yet, she has no cousins or little friends, and the few kids activities we are able to attend have had no whiners. They must come with an innate capacity for whining!

Trying to get him into the car - even for his favorite places - is a 20 minute screamfest and battle.

Oh man, Claire is a whiner too! The last week she has just been whimpering around, flailing her whole body around on the floor and on me. She seems really clingy but never satisfied. Her independence level went from an 8 to a 2. She wont play with her toys anymore by herself. I am hoping its some phase and a normal part of growing up.

You guise!!! You totally jinxed me. GG is now perfectly fine with everyone else...as soon as I walk into the room he starts a fake cry?!?! What's up with that. His fake cry is actually pretty hilarious though. I need to remember to record it tomorrow to share with all of you. Does that make me a mean mommy?

Yes, Colton whines with me too... not with anyone else... but with me, he is whining non-stop and is hugely clingy. I work from home and so sometimes I HAVE to get some work done... forget it.... he throws his body on top of my laptop... it's awesome. Which means now I do my work at night, and get no sleep... gah....

Hoping it is just a phase! Sounds like it, seeing as everyone else seems to be in the same boat!
