I was down 20lbs last Wednesday. I haven't weighed myself recently and I have been having a lot of diet soda so I imagine I have packed on some water weight but 20lbs is pretty huge for me considering I haven't worked out at all, other than housework. I decided that I needed to lose some weight before I really start working out because my body hurts so bad, especially my back and legs. I am hoping after another 10lbs lost I can start exercising without so much pain.

My weight loss isn't going nearly fast as I'd like, but it's going. I try to get to the gym 3x a week, but usually don't make it on the weekends, so I get there 2x, at most. I'm signing up for a running/training group that will run outside on Sundays to help me have something to commit to on the weekends. In March I've signed up for a 5k!

I put a sticky note on my computer here at work last Tuesday saying "no soda" and "no fast food" to remind myself I need to cut back on those things. I made it through the whole week (well the short 4 day week) without either, and most of the weekend. On Sunday DH brought home McDonalds so I had a couple of his fries (Juliet fed them to me...) and we had dinner at my mom's that night and I had a diet Sprite. But other than that, I've done well.. not that it's been that long. I don't even usually drink a lot of soda, but I was telling myself diet didn't count since it's 0 calories and drinking 1 or 2 a day. I figure it's much better to replace that with water instead.

Hopefully I can reach a "normal" BMI before my trip and we TTC again (about 20 more pounds..)

Still sitting at the exact weight I was once everything calmed down post-partum. I could stand to lose 20 lbs. but that's not likely, since it would put me back at my 24-year-old single party girl weight. I'm 10 lbs. up from before I got pregnant. Maybe since it's not such a huge difference I haven't really been all that motivated to do anything about it. I get all excited to go to the gym, go once, feel guilty that DH ends up putting Eliza to bed and I missed it, and then I don't go again for months.

I have a feeling big things are going to change around her birthday. We're weaning, and she's going to get used to Daddy reading her a story and putting her to bed. I need to stop feeling guilty for not being there every single second. It's time.

That was part of the reason I put it off for so long... I feel so so so guilty that I only get an hour or two with Juliet each night, and now I'm taking 2 nights for the gym so I get home maybe 30 mins before bedtime, if that

You ladies are doing amazing! 20 lbs is awesome LeAnne!

Well I have had a 9 month set back. But I'm hoping in a few weeks I can get on the band wagon to loose weight! I haven't weighed myself since giving birth, so I don't know what my starting weigh will be. I'm hoping that it will be close to my pre-pregnancy weight. I only really gained 20 lbs. But I never lost all the weight from Kate. I would love to be in the 130's for my friends wedding in October. So that would be 30 lbs. I'm not sure if that is realistic but I'm going to try!

Mine is going really well.
I had weight loss surgery 7 weeks ago and have lost 60lbs so far, thats including the 3 week pre-op diet before the surgery.
Now that I am recovered I need to up my exercise (ive just been swimming) so that I can loose it a bit faster. Im averaging about 8lbs a week.

I'm so impressed with all of you. I'm pretty sure I weigh more than I ever have and am hating everything about it. We're doing 2 weeks without buying any food outside of our groceries, including drinks and it's helping me already with a lot of things. My plan was to start working out in the new year, but my body isn't letting that happen right now. I'm trying to remain positive and believe that this will be a year of big positive changes in my life...and I do believe it. I'm working on letting go of a lot of things in my life...including a bunch of useless fat. We're also working on transitioning to some mommyless bedtimes.

I'm being pushed into a bunch of changes, so I'm finding it challenging to add my own willing changes to the pile.

GREAT JOB, girls!!! That's amazing!!

I am in the same position as Nicole, my body is just a wreck and working out is just not going to happen right now. I need to lose weight, but I'm not actively doing anything right now.

After about 4 1/2 months, I have finally reached my goal weight... I haven't been this size in about 10 years! I am continuing to go to the gym 5 days a week, and watching my calorie intake with the help of MyFitnessPal.

Kudos to All the Ladies!

I've joined a gym again, and am trying to get back into the habit of exercising, but it's such a vicious circle. This is the worst shape I've been in for a looooong time, and because I'm so unfit, it's really hard to find the motivation to exercise. Even when I'm there, it's so much effort to work out, whereas previously when I've exercised, I feel so much better once I get there. I'm not getting that same endorphin rush from being there, so it's really hard to force myself along. I just have to remind myself it's a long-term goal, not a short-term one.

Great job girls!!

The only reason i lost my pregnancy weight is because of the "divorce diet". I was really close to becoming anorexic because food didn't appeal to me at all. Anything I ate would make me nauseous, even light stuff like fruit. I snapped out of that when my vision started getting dark when I picked up Xander. I'm about 10 lbs over what i was before i got preggers, but i'm cool where i am. I do watch what i eat, i snack on healthy things at work, and drink like, 4 20oz bottles of water during the day. I don't own a scale, so I go by how my clothes fit. I know what size I want to be at, and go from there.

I'm going to be getting a treadmill when my tax return comes back. There is no real safe place for a girl to go work out or run around here, and I don't have anyone to watch Xander in the evenings. I'll just have to keep him off it!

I am actually doing Insanity and LOVING it! I also started running too. I weight about 10 less then I did when I got prego but I still need to loose another 15 or so to be really happy. I also have started running and I really love it since it is my "me" time!
