I have a major travel bug right now...but no money to cure it.
What's your favourite place you've ever traveled to?
Do you have any upcoming travel plans?
What's on your bucket list for travel?

I think my favorite place to travel is all over as in a road trip, which happens to be on our bucket list for the future also a trip to Disney World. I'm just waiting till my kids get old enough to have fun.

With or without kids? I don't wish to travel anywhere with a cranky toddler so I'll assume the latter...

My favorite trip, by far, was to Portland, Maine. I'm in love with the place. It was October and everything was crisp and brightly colored and felt...well, a lot like Seattle, lol.

The only travel plans we have are to Vegas in August, which you've all heard me gripe about. I'm not much of a traveler, but I'd like to check out the Oregon coast and more of New England. Places where I can wear snuggly sweaters and drink chai. Ooh, and I want to stay on a farm in Vermont someday.

I think my favourite place was Heron Island (on the Great Barrier Reef) - DH and I went there on our belated honeymoon and had an amazing time. The most beautiful beaches, and so incredibly relaxing. A close second would be Prague. DH went there and Zurich for a work trip, and I was able to join him. The trip was amazing, and Prague was so beautiful - the castles, cathedrals and the like were breathtaking.

Upcoming travel plans - we're off to New Orleans next month - a 5 day cruise with my mum and Zoe down to Mexico, then 4 days in New Orleans with DH as well. Then in April we're spending a week in Washington (DC). These are the mast major things on our US bucket list. I'm hoping to get pregnant soon - so we're trying to squeeze the last things we REALLY want to see in now before we move back to Australia next year.

On my bucket list - I would love to see more of South America, Hawaii, Canada. In Europe I would love to do a big driving trip for a few months and REALLY explore, and spend a lot of time in Italy. I went backpacking around the UK when I was 19, and would love to go back and explore more. We'd love to do a canal boat holiday through England/Wales. I've never been to Ireland and would LOVE to go driving around there. I have good friends in South Africa who I would love to visit and go on a safari. I'd love to go to Egypt and see the pyramids. Ahhhhh so many places, not enough time or money!

I really love Cuba. Our last four flying vacations have been there.

No real travel plans till school is out and then I think it might just be camping and maybe a week in BC.

Road trips - I would love to do a road trip down the coast through BC and Oregon and down to California. We are probably going to wait till I is older for that though. I would also love to get out east in Canada and eventualy see all the Atlantic Islands.

Flying wise any warm beachy place with fantastic snorkelling (especially since I got my eyes fixed) is agreeable for winter getaway. Bucket list - Scotland, Australia, China, back to France, Greece and Italy since it was so rushed when I saw them when I was 18.

What's your favourite place you've ever traveled to? Hawaii. I've been to Oahu once and Maui, twice. I really want to hit up Lanai too. DH and I will have our 10 year wedding anniversary in October and I REALLY want to go renew our vows with the kids in Maui, where we honeymooned. I want to basically have a family centered renewal ceremony.

Do you have any upcoming travel plans? Nope, nothing at the moment. We'll take some smaller trips over the summer, but not sure where.

What's on your bucket list for travel? ITALY!!! Absolutely dying to go.

I'd love to meet you guys while you're in DC!

last April Rebecca, Becky and I met up at the Baltimore Zoo, and I was thinking of trying to plan that again for this April and inviting Nicki and Kimi also, but we can change it to the DC Zoo when you're in town, if you guys have time!

DH and I have gone on some really fun vacations since we got married. Sadly the vacation last year with Kate was less than ideal due to her refusing to sleep at all. But before her.... I loved Boston, I took so many photos and we walked everywhere. Rockport MA was a really quaint little village, we went kayaking and stayed at a great little B&B. And of course the year we went to Vegas I had so much fun, I want to go back and see the rest!

It's frustrating because we spend most of our travel cash going to visit my parents. We'd be able to go on nicer vacations otherwise.

That'd be awesome! We get there late on April 7th, and come back on April 15th. We have nothing planned - we'll just play it by ear most likely. We'll be there for the cherry blossom festival which I'm excited about!

My favorite place was Guatemala, so pretty and was very humbling at the same time. Right now we have no travel plans. No $$$ and just the lagistics of thinking of traveling with a young toddler and young infant don't appeal to me at all. My bucket list places are Aussie, Germany, UK, and India.
